Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Melody, and I love stories—all kinds of stories—from heroes saving the world to dark horror tales that send chills down my spine to dramatic romances in which love conquers all.

 

I love escaping to new worlds and experiencing adventures I could never have in real life. Give me a dose of mystery, a dash of suspense, and a handful of magic, and you’ve got the recipe for my favorite kinds of works. My favorite format by far is video games, but I also enjoy reading and writing novels as well as TV/Film.

 

As for what I can do, I like writing fiction, mostly in, as mentioned above, the genres of fantasy, mystery, suspense/horror, and adventure. I especially like working them all into the same story. I can write prose, scripts, bios, articles, analysis—starting from the beginning with treatments and story bibles to critiques and breakdowns of finished works. I also enjoy editing, both for the written word and for short videos.
